Richard & Lucy Griego & Family

On August 28, 2011 We had the painful task of saying goodbye to our 23 year old son Joseph "Big Joe" Threadgill.
He was murdered at his place of employment. We knew that we had to go to the funeral home and make plans to lay our pride and joy to rest.We met David Cruz at the Daniel's funeral home and he saw the pain that we were going through, he helped us pick out a coffin and the other stuff that was needed to put Joseph to rest, David took the time to talk with us about Joseph and our family, it came out that Joseph was learning to ride with his family. David showed us "ChoppHearse", it had never been used and it was going to be rolled out on 9-11-2011. David asked us what did we think? We looked at each other and were kind of apprehensive about the idea, not because it had never been used, but the fact that Joseph's grandfather did NOT like motorcycles, Joe's grandpa meant the world to Joseph and we didn't want to offend or desecrate that relationship. But we decided to go ahead with the use of the Chopphearse. It turned out to be a good decision. For anyone who rides, knows the feeling you get when riding and for Joe's Mom and Dad, Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousin's and friends it was AMAZING and WONDERFUL TO RIDE WITH OUR HERO ONE LAST TIME. Even for those who do not ride, they enjoyed driving with procession and they could feel the rumble. If you don't believe me ask to see the pictures.
We HIGHLY recommend "Chopphearse".
And when it was all said and done Joe's Grandpa loved it also.

To David Cruz and everyone at Daniel's/Chopphearse.
Thank you very much,
Big Joe's Family

David: I just spoke with my Godparents Gilly Vigil parents whose funeral you provide the ChoppHearse for a week ago in Taos. They wanted me to thank you. While it was the most difficult day of their life you brought some peace and comfort by escorting their sons body to his final resting place on a Motorcycle. They also said you were so kind caring and pleasant and brought them much comfort. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
